I am a solo singer based in Essex who's had lots of fun experimenting, recording and performing all sorts of styles and genres of music but my favourite has to be The Big Bands of the swing era. I’ve played all sorts of venues from local pubs, vintage tea parties and hotels to theatres and aircraft hangars and I’ve enjoyed every moment.
I’ve loved the Big Bands and music from the swing era from the 20’s through to the 50’s since I was a kid, thanks to a wonderful dad who brought me up on a diet of black and white movies and old 78’s that were played on an extremely large gramophone which used to live in our living room. There is a story or a wonderful memory connected to each of the beautiful numbers I sing. Whether it be a Vera Lynn number evoking memories of being away from family and friends during the war or from my dad climbing through a window at the Odeon on a Saturday morning when he was a kid to see the latest Charlie Chaplin flick or me wishing I was Ginger Rogers wearing a stylish frock dancing with Fred Astaire leaping around the living room. This wonderful music has very special memories for me and songs with lovely meaningful lyrics. All of which I adore singing and that you will love listening to. Welcome to my very own vintage world

Hi! I’m Miss Rosy Rivets and I’m a vintage singer with a passion for the Wartime years. I sing popular songs of the time and have a large wardrobe of true vintage and reproduction outfits including military dress to fit any occasion or theme for your event.
I started singing when I was twelve years old and trained at Italia Conti, BRIT school and the Strasberg Institute, NY.
My passion for the 1940s started with my father who was a US Airman during WWII, he was also a fabulous crooner and I grew up listening to him singing Frank Sinatra, so you could say that vintage singing is in my blood.
If you would like to learn more or discuss booking me for your party, wedding or event, please feel free to contact me for more information and have a look at my social media for some clips of my singing.
